Alicia Claybon is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with over a decade of experience in the mental health field. She is currently serving as a private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients, helping them to improve their interpersonal relationships. Among her areas of expertise are Relationship Issues and Divorce Recovery.
Most recently, she founded Girls & Gab, a program designed to enhance the social and emotional development of young girls. Shortly thereafter, she established Parakeleo’ Wellness Services – an agency formed to help identify and support the mental, emotional, and behavioral needs of youth in our communities.
Alicia has provided therapeutic services in a variety of settings, including nursing homes, state correctional facilities, and inpatient psychiatric units. In addition, she has years of experience teaching college courses in the human services field.
Using an interpersonal approach to counseling, she provides support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. As a solution-focused counselor, she works compassionately with individuals and couples to help them identify solutions, build on their strengths, and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
